Austin, Texas  --   Buy Tickets Here!  On Thursday, October 22, 2009, Marathon Kids, the 13 year old Austin grassroots initiative that is now nation-wide, will host the Third Annual Austin Area "Heroes for Health" Fundraiser honoring Senator Kirk Watson as Austin's Hero for Health.  It will be held at the flagship Whole Foods Market Rooftop at 6:30 p.m.   The evening will financially benefit the 70,000 Austin area Marathon Kids who run or walk 26.2 miles over six months and also are challenged to eat 26.2 days a month of 5-a-day fruits and veggies.

The band "SAUCE" will provide live music for the elegantly appointed rooftop party benefitting the 70,000 registered Austin area Marathon Kids.  There will be a silent auction as well as delicious food and drink, catered by Whole Foods Market.
