El Paso Kick Off Celebration 2010-2011

- Where: UTEP Kidd Field
Teachers and families: You are invited and encouraged to attend this free event and run or walk with your children as they take on the challenge of running/walking 26.2 miles incrementally over six months, tracking their progress and healthy eating choices as they go, all in an effort to combat childhood obesity and type II diabetes.
Registered children who participate in the free Kick Off Celebration will earn free rewards and meet UTEP athletes and other special guests!
Schools from El Paso and Las Cruces area districts, private schools, and home school families are invited to participate!
Quick Facts:
- This event is open to registered Marathon Kids and their families
- To register your school or learn more click here.
- All attendees will be seated first come, first serve and brought down onto the track in groups by section.
- Children may attend with their school group and/or their family.
- School groups should bring large banners/signs to help identify your group.
- Groups should designate a meeting place outside the stadium to gather before entering the stands.
- Plan to run/walk with your students/children!
- Event will last roughly 2 hours.
- Dress is comfortable/athletic and weather appropriate.
