On Saturday, April 28th, El Paso and Las Cruces Area elementary school children will complete the challenge of running or walking 26.2 miles incrementally over six months together in the free, glorious, Ceremonial Final Mile Celebration.  These children will run or walk their ceremonial final lap of as Marathon Kids with other El Paso and Las Cruces Area families at El Paso ISD's Baty-Simang stadium, 10:00am.
 
Registered children who participate in the free Final Mile Celebration will earn free rewards and meet UTEP athletes and other special guests!

Schools from El Paso and Las Cruces area districts, private schools, and home school families are invited to participate!
 
Quick Facts:
- This event is open to registered Marathon Kids and their families
- All attendees will be seated first come, first serve and brought down onto the track in groups by section.
- Children may attend with their school group and/or their family.
- School groups should bring large banners/signs to help identify your group.
- Groups should designate a meeting place outside the stadium to gather   before entering the stands.
- Plan to run/walk with your students/children!
- Event will last roughly 1.5 hours.
- Dress is comfortable/athletic and weather appropriate.
