This recipe gives you energy for the entire day. It is a great snack to take on a hike, walk, run, or bike ride around your town. It is so easy to make! All you need is a bowl, the ingredients, and a spoon -- or even your hands!

Ingredients:

  1. 1 cup of your favorite nuts (peanuts, cashwes, pistachios, almonds, pecans, anything!) These are LOADED with good protein and energy to keep you statisfied for hours.
  2. 1/2 cup of raisins (or craisins for those of you who like these better)
  3. 1/2 cup of any other dried fruit (peaches, apricots, apples, plums, or even cherries)
  4. 1/2 cup of m&ms or chocolate chips to satisfy your sweet tooth (you could try using chocolate- or yogurt-covered raisins instead!)

Mix everything together with a spoon or you can even use your hands! Divide it evenly into 6 individual plastic bags, so you have some for every day of the week!
