This recipe is great for Marathon Kids because we are starting a new GARDENING part to our program!! The only difference is that you can EAT this dirt.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 packages of instant chocolate pudding
- 4 cups of skim or 1% cold milk
- 1 package of Oreo cookies
- 8 Large plastic cups, or 8 plastic or clay flower pots (Make sure mom and dad have helped you wash them in hot, soapy water
- Aluminum Foil
- Package of gummy worms
DIRECTIONS:
- Dump all Oreos into plastic bag. Seal bag and crumble all oreos inside with hands, rolling pin, or even feet, but make sure the bag does not pop! That would cause a HUGE mess!
- Pour milk into large bowl and add pudding. Mix well together and then let it stand for about 5 minutes, without touching it! So that the mixture thickens.
- Put a little bit of oreo cookie crumbs at bottom of cup or pot.
- Put pudding mixture on top of cookie crumbs. Alternate- cookie crumbs, pudding, cookie crumbs pudding, until you are at the top of your cup/pot.
- Put gummy worms onto top of cup/pot once it is full with pudding and cookie crumbs (You can also add gummy worms inside of pot/cup, as a surprise when you are eating it!)
- Refrigerate so that it is nice and cold for you to eat!
